Knowing God Through Obedience | In light of love | 1 John 2: 3-6 | Ep.4
Many people claim to know God. But in 1 John 2, John challenges us to ask a deeper question: does our walk match our claim? Genuine fellowship with God is not revealed by what we say, but by a growing desire to obey Him. John reminds us that obedience is not a way of earning God’s love, but evidence that we truly know Him. And ultimately, sincere obedience looks like walking as Jesus walked — abiding in Him, following His Word, and reflecting His character in everyday life. As we remain in Christ, our lives begin to show what our lips profess: that we belong to Him.
