JUSTICE MERCY
Our Justice:Mercy (J:M) ministry is a love-driven, biblically based, discipleship response to the presence of injustice in our society. Our desire is to restore the balance of justice through acts of mercy that include generosity to the poor, advocacy for the oppressed and redemption for the oppressors.
FAMILY MINISTRY
We truly believe God has a heart for the whole family from little kids to Young Adults.
That is why we have our Noah’s Ark Ministry (babies 6 months to 5 years old), Kids Church (Grades R to 5), Pre-Teens (Grades 6 & 7), Reach Youth (Grades 8 to 12) and Young Adults Ministry.
MUSIC MINISTRY
Worship through song is one of the amazing ways we get to express our love for God! At BBC we believe that song is also a way we communicate the truths of scripture. We are blessed to have an amazing volunteer-based worship team, serving us weekly. And a team that also writes and releases worship songs.
MEDIA MINISTRY
Online and in-person, the ability to reach people has never been so great. This is a ministry that serves the church by equipping other ministries to share the gospel and serve our people.
GOSPEL COMMUNITIES
In our Gospel Communities (GCs) we seek to build deep, Christ-centred relationships. Sharing life with one another, centred around and made possible by the gospel of God. In a smaller group context is where we can really take the time to reach deeper.
CARE AND COUNSELING
We all desire to be seen, heard and cared for in all seasons and rhythms of life. We’re also all in need of someone to come alongside us in times of pain, confusion, distress, or trauma. This is where the Care and Counselling Ministry comes in. We help people to draw closer to Christ, providing a Gospel lens through which to view their circumstances, situations, and relationships. We continue to point people to Jesus as we come alongside them
CAMPUS OUTREACH
Campus Outreach purposes to glorify God by building labourers on the campus for the lost world. We do this by engaging university students with the gospel in a culturally relevant way, walking a road of discipleship through university, connecting them to the local church, to sending them out to make disciples in South African society and beyond.
HANDS-ON
This ministry is what makes a Sunday feel like home, from welcoming people, helping them find their seats or making them a stellar cappuccino, they are here to serve!
PRAYER
BBC Prayer Ministry is about becoming a praying church together.
We create simple ways for you to share what’s on your heart, stand with others in prayer, and be part of a team that prays for our church each Sunday. Whether you need prayer or want to pray for others, this is an invitation to step into a deeper dependence on God—together.
