Finding Joyful Rest Part 1 | Psalms 23:1-4
What does going back to reality mean for you? We long for rest and joy, but joyful rest is something that alludes to us; rather, we are burdened by anxious toil. We need to know that we are creatures and by our definition, we are dependent on our creator. Let us repent of our foolish notions that we are independent, let us acknowledge to ourselves, each other and God that we are helpless and in need. Then let us rest in the knowledge that God is our shepherd.
